Immunity – the ability of the human body and animals to specifically respond to the presence of a foreign substance in it. This reaction provides the body’s resistance, which determines its importance for survival.
In our body, from birth, there are congenital and acquired immunity. The basis of the born immunity is non-specific defense mechanisms. These include – the barrier functions of the mucous membranes and blood, the bactericidal effect of fatty acids and lactic acid in the secretions of the sebaceous and sweat glands, the bactericidal properties of the intestinal and gastric contents.
Naturally acquired immunity is defined as the immunity to diseases that occurs after illness. Acquired active immunity can be obtained artificially using the introduction of vaccines – killed or weakened pathogens of infectious diseases, as well as the introduction of a weakened toxin, which is produced by microorganisms. The reaction of the body to the introduced substances is the formation of immunity. This immunity is called artificial active immunity.
In those cases when a serum is introduced into the human body, which contains ready-made antibodies to the causative agent of the disease, the immunity is called acquired passive immunity.
The most important and significant factors that affect the immune system are:
  1. Stress and negative emotions (anger, fear, anxiety, jealousy, regret, disappointment, concern).  For prevention, it is recommended to take antidepressants (as prescribed by the doctor). Usually antidepressants give very positive effects. For example, Alprazolam appears to be an effective antidepressant in the treatment of outpatients who have a diagnosis of major depressive disorder. The authors have reviewed six controlled double-blind studies of alprazolam in the treatment of depression(as prescribed by the doctor).
  2. A permanent lack of sleep leads to a decrease in the number of cells that can defeat viral infections. Volume reduction can reach 40%.  The most common and safest pill for this type of disorder is Desyrel. Desyrel prices can be found here.
  3. The modern human environment is polluted by a large number of various harmful substances (radionuclide radiation, chemical, physical and others). Adverse environmental factors reduce immunity.
  4. For the production of immune cells, the body needs a large amount of vitamin Avitamin C, E and B, as well as trace elements (zinc, selenium, iron). With their deficiency, cell division slows down, which reduces their activity.
  5. Alcohol and many narcotic substances suppress the activity of T-lymphocytes. Doctors recommend the use of various drugs for the prevention and treatment of chronic alcoholism.
  6. Certain categories of drugs lead to a decrease in the mobility of immune cells, their aggressiveness against pathogens, and the development of antibodies.

For the prevention of immune diseases, the means of physical culture have long established themselves . It is worth noting that there are no specific physical exercises that are designed to enhance the immunity of the human body. In this regard, in the scientific literature there are only recommendations on the organization of physical education activities, which can improve immunity. These recommendations are: focus on a more convenient time for classes (usually in the morning), charging time – 20-30 minutes; exercises must be performed during the day, walk more; adhere to a positive train of thought; optimal swimming, jogging, walking.
Thus, we can conclude that physical activity has a stimulating effect on the immune system. The most important requirement for these loads is that it should not become extreme. As soon as it exceeds this level, the activity of the immune system is inhibited.
